The Technology Department has been releasing new app features throughout the month of August. These updates make the apps easier to use, provide more communication features, and allow for direct feedback from the client! Below is a summary of the highlights and what you can expect to see. With a Safety-Driven focus, our Safety Committees have started to meet—discussing topics that benefit Flagger Force company wide. Each committee meets in their local market and contains members from Branch Management, Safety, Operations, and the field. With their firsthand experience, the committees are able to collaborate on making all of our work environments safer. Here’s a quick recap of what they’re talking about: • Radio use consistency • Bug repellent • Night wand usage and distribution • Fatigue / heat exhaustion • Office-to-field communication FREE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) We have enhanced our Employee Assistance Program, now provided by Mazzitti & Sullivan. There are times when everyone can use help in dealing with problems, and the EAP provides free, strictly confidential counseling to help you resolve a variety of issues, including stress, depression, life transitions, grief, parenting, domestic violence, financial issues, legal issues, and more. The EAP will also cover up to three free face-to-face counseling sessions per year. Safety Committee Update Human Resources Update • Three-way communication training • Reducing unnecessary high-risk exposure • How to assist new employees and set them up for success • Field Specialist and Quality Specialist availability • Nighttime and inclement weather visibility Every market’s safety committee has chosen a chairperson. This spokesperson will meet quarterly with other chairs and all members of the company-wide Safety Committee. If you have any questions about the Safety Committee or would like to contribute a topic, please contact your local Safety Professional. 1 2 3 6 5 4 The safer our work zones, the better our clients’ experience, the more work we will receive! We are replacing Live IDs with new user accounts for better security and more reliability. The Dispatch app will notify field employees immediately of job assignments, job cancellations, or any change made to their assignments. Job leads will be able to auto-fill (populate) time for all Crew Members on the Timesheet app. Note: You will still be able to enter/update time for any Crew Member that worked fewer or more hours. You  will be able to subscribe to receive job notifications through  text messages and/or email. The Timesheet app can now remind job leads to properly ENTER and SAVE account codes if they forget to do so. Foremen and client representatives will  now be able to rate our work from the Timesheet app after they sign off. GET INSTANT FEEDBACK!
