NOTE: Never use hot water to melt ice off your vehicle. FREE YOUR VEHICLE OF SNOW AND ICE Review your situation and… • contact your local branch office for assistance. • stay with your vehicle unless you are in danger. • keep the lights of your vehicle on so other vehicles can see you. • be aware that if the exhaust pipe is obstructed while the vehicle is running, dangerous fumes can build up inside the cab. If you can’t safely remove the obstruction, it is recommended to open the windows. Be sure that... • your oil is changed on schedule. For Flagger Force vehicles, the oil must be changed every 7,500 miles. Any service performed on a Flagger Force vehicle must be done at a Firestone or Tires Plus location. • your vehicle’s washer reservoir is filled with “no-freeze” fluids. • your tires have good tread and are inflated properly before traveling.
