NWZAW is an annual spring awareness campaign that coincides with the time of year when construction work begins to increase. Its focus is to bring national awareness of work zone safety to motorists and work zone employees. Stay tuned for details of Flagger Force’s participation. Human Resources Update All W-2s were sent out via U.S. Postal Service on January 31, 2017. If you need additional copies, they are available on our online payroll service, inovapayroll.com. For easy access and to sign into Inova, visit the Employee Portal on our website. IT Update A new app called CPR Training has been installed on all Flagger Force tablets. This app provides a link to the test that you will take during your CPR training course. Please ensure you have your tablets with you during this training so you can take the test. For more information, contact your POC. Fleet Policy Update As of January 25, 2017, all 2015 and 2016 Flagger Force Ford F-150 trucks are to be serviced at Ford dealerships only. These vehicles will no longer be serviced at Firestone retail locations. If you are currently driving one of these vehicles, please contact your branch for the list of approved dealerships. Flagger Force Academy Update 124,534 hours completed in 2016! Our Flagger Force Academy has had a lot of accomplishments over the past several years, but in 2016, we increased the amount of trainings that are provided to all employees of Flagger Force. We are proud to be able to offer these programs to you and hope you enjoy participating in these courses. We are proud to announce that, thanks to the dedication of all of our Instructors, Safety Professionals, Quality Specialists, and Branch Managers, we have completed a total of 124,534 hours of training! Total number of hours also includes hours completed in Crew Member Training (18,040), Crew Leader Training (28,824 hours), Advanced Crew Leader Training (23,040 hours), Smith Driving Training (9,616 hours), Specialty Equipment Operations Training (10,176 hours), and Managing from the Inside Out Sessions (231 hours).
