These clothing items include a thermal t-shirt, long underwear, and socks. Examples of good wicking fabrics are wool, silk, and polyester. Your insulating layer keeps warmth around your body. These clothing items include fleece vests, jackets, and hardhat liners. Examples of good fabrics to wear are wool, down feathers, and polyester fleece. Your final layer should be a protective layer. These items of clothing will help you against the rain, snow, and wind. This layer should be loose to comfortably hold the insulating layer underneath. Good items to wear would be your winter parka jacket, winter bib, rain jacket, waterproof gloves, and boots.
