Always be aware of No Parking signs and parking zones with posted parking times. Despite being one of the nation’s best Traffic Control Professionals, you must still follow the same parking laws as any motorist. A A B B C C Obtain permission to park. If for safety reasons the most preferred option is to park on or near private property, be sure to get permission first. When doing this, first introduce yourself to the business or property owner, and then explain the work you and the client will be doing throughout the day and how long the job may take. If the business or property owner does not give you permission, find a new location to park. Use a Crew Member parking sign. Our branches can provide a sign card to display on the dashboard of your personal vehicle when parking near a jobsite (after you obtain any necessary permission to park). If you have not received this, please contact your Point of Contact (POC) or visit your local branch.
