More than 400,000 people are injured in weather-related incidents per year, and many of those occur while driving or parking a vehicle in inclement weather. Never overlook potential risks when selecting a place to park and remember that roadside assistance is available for all Flagger Force fleet vehicles 24/7. Here are some additional tips to keep in mind: T E T A L K D D E E F F Don’t get stuck! Soft, grassy, damp, frozen, sloping, or low-lying ground can quickly turn into a problem for you and your vehicle. Even if you think your vehicle and your skills can get you out of any parking jam, never take the risk. Over the course of a workday, parked vehicles will settle into soft ground, while changes in weather can quickly make ground conditions deteriorate further. Watch where you park. Don’t park on narrow shoulders or areas with poor visibility to oncoming traffic, such as a sharp bend in the road. If you get stuck... Call your Point of Contact (POC) immediately for further instruction. Do not ask or allow a client/motorist to pull your Flagger Force vehicle out unless authorized by Flagger Force management. Never attempt to push or allow a client/ motorist to push your vehicle out by hand as this can cause injuries.
